I’m about 25% of the way through my transcription of the “Productions of Agriculture in the north part of Brookhaven” from the 1850 Census. Here’s an image of part of the original document (on Microfilm) to give you a better idea of what I’m working on:
I exchanged emails with my supervisor earlier today, and it looks like later this week we’ll be taking a trip to some local archives. Hands-on archival research is always exciting, so I’m looking forward to that. Today, however, is dedicated to my own work (rereading Edgar Huntly), so right now it’s back to that. Until next time!
